Josh considers Aether to be the very first game he's ever completed. It's core mechanic features a unique aesthetic rendering method, in which the player cannot see past objects that block their character’s vision. This means that normally easy or boring encounters become far more exciting and interesting. Not knowing what lies beyond a corner creates an entirely new gameplay experience. Aether won the “Best in Game Feel” Award from the 2019 RPI Gamefest. Aether also remains free to download on Itch.io
