What is Relighter?

Relighter is a first person adventure game Josh made during his time at NYU. It is a short and simple game in which the player connects beams of light to one another to solve simple logic puzzles throughout the space. Josh was responsible for the lighting and environmental art, while his collaborator was responsible for the music, audio, and puzzle programming.

The core mechanic of Relighter was to reconnect lights throughout the world, to re-light the planet. As the player connects more and more of these lights to their targets, they see tall towers rise in the distance, prompting new lights to be connected. Relighter was released on Itch.io
